This is my “It Gets Better” message.  I have only seen a few of these things online and I think it’s great that these entertainers are using their celebrity to spread a positive message.  The first one I saw was by that poor man’s Lady Gaga, KESHA.  I didn’t really know what to make of it since I had never seen one before, nor do I know who Kesha is.  I thought she was just being overly dramatic as she was sending a message to the youth who are having trouble with the J-LO/BEN AFFLECK break-up.  As you can see, I’m pretty out of touch.  But as more and more popped up online, I understood the objective of the “It Gets Better” campaign.  The objective is to let kids who are having trouble with bullies know, that everything will be okay and life gets better.  Sure high school sucks, but it’s just a tiny fraction of your life.  The best one I saw features a city council member by the name of JOEL BURNS during a meeting in Texas.

Two things in the clip caught me by surprise.  For one, he’s a REPUBLICAN.  And second, I didn’t know that there were gay people in Texas. I was very inspired.

This 14th installment of What Mike Saw features a period in my life that was very difficult, and in some ways still is.  My message to young people who are dealing with the bastard asses who won’t leave you alone is to take a good look at my friends in the video below. We all are a bunch of odd-looking weirdos and many of us dealt with bullying when we were in school.  How?  By learning how to make fun of ourselves.  Either that or join Karate and surprise the BULLY and beat their ass in the bathroom.

And when it’s all said and done, move out of your crappy little town.  Go to where intolerance is not as rampant.  We just had an election yesterday and if you look at the congressional map and how each district voted, it’s no coincidence that all the bigger cities are the blue areas and Butt-Fuck Egypt is covered in red.  (FYI, it’s the blue side who fights for gay rights). So seriously, move away to the blue area.  You can even stay with me for a few days.
